There is a problem facing the early Church. Gentiles are being saved (Acts 10-11) but are they “saved Gentiles” or are they “beginner Jews”? How does the law of Moses intersect with the Christian life? At the root, how are we saved in Christ? It is a huge question and the Church meets to discuss the answer. We’ll be dealing with a few questions this week: Who is causing the trouble? Who is answering the question? How do they end up responding? How are we supposed to live our lives as a result?
As the Lord leads, read through Acts 15 this week. Meditate on Acts 15:1-35. The memory verse for this section of Scripture is Acts 15:9.
