The Lord’s Supper
1 Corinthians 11:17–34

The Lord’s Supper commemorates the central act in history: the death of Christ through His coming return. It’s packed with meaning. Paul confronts the Corinthian Church with their failure to fully understand this act of remembrance. What were they doing wrong? How does Paul go about challenging these understandings? Most importantly, how should we live our lives in light of these realities?

As the Lord leads, read through 1 Corinthians 11:17-34 this week as you prepare to study the passage Sunday morning. The verse that corresponds to Sunday School is 2 Corinthians 1:4.
