2 Samuel 3
David is not yet king of the Israel and Judah. He’s only king over the southern half of Israel. Civil war breaks out in the land. Battles fought. Political intrigues abound. How does David navigate these troubled waters? His final enemy is killed. How does David respond? What kind of man does this text describe David to be? How should that affect our lives?
As the Lord leads, read through 2 Samuel 2:1-4:12 this week. Focus your studies on 4:1-12 as we will be spending a larger chunk of our time there. The verse for this week is 2 Samuel 3:6.
